La Parigi degli anni Venti farà da sfondo ad un altro splendido connubio artistico che vedrà sulla scena l’icona del balletto classico Mikhail Baryshnikov nello spettacolo In Paris diretto da Dmitry Krimov, acclamato regista del teatro d’avanguardia russo.
Si tratta dell’adattamento scenico di una novella di Ivan Bunin, Premio Nobel per la letteratura nel 1933. Un progetto davvero originale fra il teatro e la danza.
The Paris of the nineteen-twenties will be the background of another wonderful artistic collaboration starring the icon of the classical ballet, Mikhail Baryshnikov, in the show in Paris directed by Dmitry Krimov, an acclaimed director of the Russian avant-garde theater. This is the stage adaptation of a novel by Ivan Bunin, the first Russian writer to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1933. A truly original project that links theater and dance.

The Berliner Ensemble,directed once again by Robert Wilson, returns to the Festival with the German expressionist writer, Frank Wedekind’s Lulu, featuring the music of the legendary Lou Reed. Wilson gives us his version of the scene story of Lulu, the incarnation of the myth of the femme fatale: a great modern tragedy and a beautiful praise to freedom, at the same time.
